Finally, the cat is out of bag as the official confirmations about the remake of Telugu blockbuster ‘Ready’ will soon start rolling herein Kodambakkam. This yet to be titled remake will feature Dhanush in lead role with Jawahar Mithran himself wielding the megaphone. It’s worth mentioning that the filmmaker’s previous and present projects ‘Yaaradi Nee Mohini’ and ‘Kutty’ are also Telugu remakes.
The Telugu version had Ram and Genelia D’Souza in lead roles with Thamannah playing a minimal role. This family entertainer crossed 175 days with big collections in box office.
Heroine yet to be confirmed while the film is produced by Mohan Appa Rao, Ramesh Thandra under the banner of Balaji Studios Pvt. Ltd… At present, ‘Ready’ is being remade in Kannada with Puneeth Rajkumar and Priyamani in lead roles while the ‘Hindi’ remake is ready to kick-start soon.
