Enthiran - the much awaited movie... I sat with all the expectations. The movie started with the title and not any intro song like any other Rajini movie. It went straight to the subject and Rajini was a scientist, Aish his lover. He invents a Robot for the Indian army to replace soldiers and makes such a robot, but the robot fails the AIRD test due to the lack of knowledge of feelings, recognizing good and evil.
So Vasi- Rajini makes the robot to get the human feelings and that will turn the robot as his competition in the game of love. Of course Aish will reject. Because of this the robot fails in the Military test and Vasi will be disappointed and destroys it.
Rajini's professor and villan, is a rival to Rajini's outstanding invention. He finds the dismantled robot and modifys its code and turn it into an evil machine. At one point it kills the villan and starts producing the clones of himself. So its thousands of Rajini robot all over the place.
It also kidnaps Aish, The hero Rajini will fight against it and removes the dirty chip from the robot to bring it to normal. After all these chaos, the court ask to dismantle it and the robot will be put into a museum for students to study.
Pros:
A.R. Rahman's music keeps you seated and the background score is excellent.
Rajini has done his part fairly.
Aish - nice hip movements.
Cons:
Shankar - He made a brilliant bull shit in Graphics. It is not natural.
Can't such an experienced director sense the pulse of the audience?
The car chase scene, the Merc has been hit a number of times and the visuals show the crushed front side and in the next shot it comes with no damage in the frontside.
Car jumping scene - totally fucked up.
2 Sumos flying when Benz hits them from back - all are mere local graphics and stunts.
In the promotions, most of the cine artists and technicians were praising Shankar to be the first Tamil director in Hollywood? BULL SHIT, with this movie he is not even eligible to be a light boy at Hollywood.
Mosquito scene and talking is totally irritating and those mosquito names are more irritating. Not necessary at all.
Songs - Most of the songs are misplaced in the movie. Only 'Irumbilae oru Irudhayam', 'Kaadhal anukal', 'Arima' and the 'Chitti Theme' were ok in the movie.
Graphics - Idea was good but output is mere shit.
Remember Spiderman 3 graphics - the 'sand man', spiderman, 'Black evil spider' and the excellent graphics. Do you know where those were done? NOT IN HOLLYWOOD, it was done in CHENNAI, INDIA by 'Sony Imageworks', that is in Tidel Park.
Story line - Usual story that is already seen in iRobot and concept of worm from Independence day.
Costumes - Robotic costumes looks very local and it was like watching Ram Narayan's local film Graphics.
Cinematography - Randy has done a good job in 'Varanam Aayiram' may be Gautham Menon has a better sense of Cinematography.

I hope you guys have not seen 'Robocap' the movie that was done in 1980. Once you watch it you all will agree to me my friends.
I'm stil on my point, Shankar was inefficient on this movie. Of course Rajni was excellent, but Shankar could have planned on the output than the waste budget.
1 question, did you notice, how many times that Mercedes was crashed on the movie from begining.
How was it repaired once it hit the divider and the auto rickshaw driver shouts at Rajini.
Friends, take out partiality glass from your eyes and judge any movie without it.

I agree to the author, Robocop, was an excellent movie. It shows the human - to - robot transformation in a clean way. It is very impressive.
On ROBOT, It is a good try, but not the expected one. It's success depended on the shoulders of Rajini and AR Rahman, most of the fans of Shankar have stepped back when the movie we released.
